Well Located

Just a 20 minute drive to Ibiza town, and a further 5-10 minutes to the airport, Cas Gasi is conveiniently located whilst still feeling a world away from the hustle and bustle of civilisation.

Well Fed

The secret to the success of the Cas Gasi kitchen lies in the seasonal produce that is picked daily from the on-site vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. The hotel is surrounded by a Mediterranean landscape of orange and olive groves, almond, fig, lemon, apricot and carob trees, as well as plots of organic vegetables. Cas Gasi produces organic homemade jams and compotes from the trees, while hens wander freely around the orchard and supply the hotel daily with fresh eggs. Seasonal fruit and vegetables such as peppers, leeks, courgettes, pumpkins, tomatoes, beetroot, strawberries make up the majority of the menu, whilst local Monastrell grapes are harvested for house wine. It is worth scheduling in a visit to Santa Gertrudis to sample the menus at Il Buco and Wild Beets, both serve exceptional food.

Well Being

The Cas Gasi wellness centre is a tranquil haven with a dry sauna, fully equipped gym, whirlpool, private relaxation space and a sublime outdoor yoga deck. Each morning as the sun rises over the olive groves, Cas Gasi’s private yoga instructor invites guests to join a free class, WELL CURATED took the opportunity to capture some beautiful content. A generous adult swimming pool and separate child-friendly pool are both available for guests to cool down from the warm Ibizan sun. Personalised spa services and complementary therapies are provided by Cas Gasi’s in-house therapists who offer a wide range of techniques from both Eastern and Western traditions including Ayurvedic massage and Reiki.

Well Sustained

Cas Gasi pride themselves on using as many sustainable techniques and eco-friendly methods as possible in the day-to-day running of the hotel. Nothing ever goes to waste – olive oil, jams, preserves and ratatouille are made with excess crops, and any remaining fruit and veg is donated to feeding the happy hens. An advanced water cleansing plant transforms the wastewater from all hotel’s departments into clean water for irrigation of the decorative plants and flowers. Having first discovered the use of de-salting plants on boats to produce drinking water from sea water, owners Margaret von Korff and Luis Trigueros Juan were keen to integrate the sustainable re-use of their well water at Cas Gasi. “I think we have a waste water treatment plant big enough to provide irrigation water for a whole village,” says Margaret.
