Chefs use the best artisanal suppliers from the Algarve to source seasonal ingredients that uphold the farm to table tradition. Overlooking the gardens, Casa Mãe Spa features two treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, a hydrotherapy & relaxation room, and on its rooftop, an 11-meter long outdoor chlorine free & salty heated pool with a cosy spa terrace & solarium. Natural materials, tropical plants, and curated craft details create a peaceful cocoon. With Oliofora, the Portuguese natural skincare expert, Casa Mãe have developed a range of face & body products and treatments to offer guests an exclusive experience reflecting the concept of Casa Mae. The signature treatment combines a full-body massage with the purest plant oils, and a customised face mask tailored to specific skincare needs and expectations. Yoga and pilates are also available on request. 

Well Sustained

Wines are natural, teas organic, almond milk homemade… wherever possible Casa Mãe choose the most environmental friendly option. Seasonal veggies from the 6000sqm gardens make up a large proportion of the menu. The hotel also aim to zero food waste, feeding their 200 chickens with the restaurant and farm left overs. Casa Mãe’s skincare is entirely organic, made with natural Portuguese ingredients and stocked in refillable clay pots made by a local artisan. As with many coastal destinations, Lagos is a seasonal city, to fight the low season lull Casa Mãe stay open and contribute to the city’s winter renaissance with a series of creative workshops, from weaving and ceramics, to photography and painting.
