Well Quick Questions
Jessica Skye relocated to Cornwall in December 2023, and her Instagram feed is now filled with coastal views and, of course, outfit inspiration for outdoor living. Here, she shares her answers to our Well Quick Questions.
Well Read - a book you’ve enjoyed recently
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.
Well Worn - an item of clothing or jewellery you wear again and again
My Khaite Benny belt has worked incredibly hard over the past year, it effortlessly elevates the simplest outfits. My go-to this winter is an oversized cosy knit, Agolde 90’s pinch waist jeans, and my Benny belt.
Well Nourished - a recipe or restaurant for a great plate of food
DuchyGrub, located on the scenic North coast of Cornwall, offers tasty dishes made from locally sourced and sustainable ingredients—worth a visit if you’re making your way down to Cornwall soon.
Well Beautiful - a hair, makeup, or skincare product that makes you feel good
The Dr. Dennis Gross LED face mask is my absolute go-to if my skin is feeling flat and dull; it’s an instant pick-me-up—especially in winter.
Well Being - a ritual that has kept its place in your routine
Walking has always been my way to unwind and reconnect with myself, especially now that I live in Cornwall, where the scenery is so beautiful. I’m out morning and night with the dogs no matter the weather.
Well Shopped - a second-hand shop for hidden treasures
Cornwall has so many wonderful charity shops and unique second-hand treasures, and I thoroughly enjoy having a little nosey whenever I’m pottering about the area. However, if I'm searching for something specific, Vinted has become my guilty pleasure.
Well Fit - a workout that works for you
Pilates By Bryony is a non-negotiable for me; I love her easy and simple techniques.
Well Travelled - where you go to feel well
Santorini is my forever happy place; there hasn’t been a year go by in the past seven years I haven’t visited this wonderful island.
Well Heard - a podcast worth tuning in to
Like so many, I’m a sucker for personal growth and manifestation. The EXPANDED podcast with Lacey Philips is the perfect antidote. It dives deep into the subconscious and is perfect when you need a pick-me-up.

Where to stay:
Atlanta Trevone - Self-catered properties with seriously inviting interiors. Outside, the sea pool is just a short walk away, alternatively you can join the coastal path that leads to Padstow.
Cabilla - If you’re looking for a wellness retreat in Cornwall, Cabilla located on Bodmin Moor is just the place. Running throughout the year, the retreat itinerary includes yoga, ecological walks, wild swims and star gazing.
Ukiyo - A contemporary bolthole overlooking Coverack Cove, this sustainably-designed space sleeps four but we think it’s ideal for a romantic getaway for two.
Watergate Bay - The beautifully designed beach lofts at Watergate Bay overlook the 2-mile stretch of sand, and offer surfboard storage and a wetsuit room.
Little Trenant Barn - This Airbnb find is perfectly located for exploring the Helford River, you can even borrow a boat, kayaks or paddle boards to get out on the waterways.
Where to eat:
Potager Garden and Café - A great spot for breakfast or lunch if you’re near the village Constantine. Potager also hosts creative workshops throughout the year, so be sure to check the calendar.

Leach Pottery - We first discovered Leach Pottery through Toast, who stock their collection of tableware. You can book a throwing course or workshop on their website, or simply visit the shop while you’re in St Ives.
The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden - Also in St Ives, The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is home to the largest group of Hepworth's works.
Koru Kayaking - Spending time on the Helford River feels like stepping into the pages of Swallows and Amazons, and there’s no better way to see it than by kayak.
