Happy New Year! To kick off 2025, we’re to speaking to friend of Well Curated, India Cardona, as she answers our Well Quick Questions. Plus, we’re exploring what’s happening in wellness—from new fitness studios and retreats to a pioneering wellbeing centre that’s bridging the gap between somatic and traditional therapies.

Well Quick Questions

India Cardona, also known as The India Edit, is a creator and curator who we initially came across through her interiors photography. Since then, we have been inspired by her style, travel, and wellbeing choices. Here, India shares her answers to our Well Quick Questions.

Well Read - a book you’ve enjoyed recently

Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering—a page-turning thriller set in New York that examines how far we'll go in friendships.

Well Worn - an item of clothing or jewellery you wear again and again

My DÔEN Petra Cardigan in burgundy (undoubtedly the colour of the season). It's the perfect easy piece that looks elevated and can be dressed up or down.

Well Nourished - a recipe or restaurant for a great plate of food

The sourdough from Toklas is my current addiction. I love it paired with everything from Bold Bean Co's Baked Beans, boiled eggs and some comté, to simple butter and jam. You can actually get it on Deliveroo in London too.

Well Beautiful - a hair, makeup, or skincare product that makes you feel good

Sarah Chapman’s 3D Moisture Mask for its instant, radiant glow. It's like a facial in a packet.

Well Being - a ritual that has kept its place in your routine

I've been an avid meditator for the last five years and I try to practice Vedic meditation both morning and night. It's been the single most positive influence on every area of my life.

Well Shopped - a second-hand shop for hidden treasures

The Spotlight Market which is a curated vintage furniture market that happens a handful of times a year in East London.

Well Fit - a workout that works for you

Online pilates classes are my favourite way to move my body. Since 2018 I've religiously used Melissa Wood Health and Pilates By Bryony.

Well Heard - a podcast worth tuning in to

Sidetracked. Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw discuss the week in music, which is always entertaining.

Well Travelled - where you go to feel well

To the mountains, the air is like nowhere else! Forestis is my forever favourite for a mountain stay.

Forestis.

What’s happening in wellness…

If you’re looking for inspiration for the New Year, we’ve gone in search of latest news and openings—from new fitness studios and retreats to a pioneering wellbeing centre that’s bridging the gap between somatic and traditional therapies.

Seven Lion Yard Opens in Clapham
A new wellbeing centre, Seven Lion Yard, has opened in Clapham. Co-founded by Dr. Madeleine Jago, an experienced senior clinical psychologist, the centre offers a unique blend of traditional therapy and somatic practices such as meditation and mindfulness, all under one roof. Over the years, we’ve seen the emotional response to somatic therapies but noticed a lack of aftercare or ongoing support. We’re thrilled to see the gap between traditional therapy and somatic approaches finally being bridged.

Tresco Island Launches Its First Festival of Wellness
Tresco Island has announced its inaugural Festival of Wellness, running from 14th-22nd March. The week-long event features meditative morning yoga, spa treatments inspired by the island’s pristine waters, gentle introductions to trail running and cold-water immersion, as well as breath work sessions, gardening, and floristry workshops. Attendees can choose between self-catered cottages or a stay at The New Inn, which has 16 newly refurbished en-suite rooms, many with beautiful sea or countryside views.

The Method Comes to Westbourne Grove
The Method studio will open its doors at 235 Westbourne Grove, offering four exclusive class concepts: DFLOW, BLAST, BEAT CARDIO, and BALLET BOOST. Perfect for fans of barre and dance-inspired workouts, we’re already hopeful this could be London’s equivalent of The Class.

Wylder Retreats Heads to Verbier, Switzerland
Charlotte Townend, founder of Wylder, is taking a break from her Balearic base to host a four-night retreat in Verbier, Switzerland. Guests can look forward to daily yoga sessions led by Charlotte, complemented by mountain hikes and wild swims. Having experienced one of her Ibiza retreats, we know Charlotte’s teaching style is well suited to all levels, meaning guests make significant progress with their practice while also making a group of new friends.

Fowlescombe Farm: South Devon’s Newest Destination
The first glimpse of Fowlescombe Farm has given us reason to get excited about their opening. Situated in the foothills of Dartmoor, this 500-acre regenerative organic farm is set to offer luxurious accommodations, farm-to-fork dining, and bespoke activity programmes showcasing the very best of the farm and the South Devon community.
